Frequently asked questions
Court Bookings
Membership
Courts can be booked up to 5 days in advance.
The booking system opens each day at 8:00am.
Tennis:
Peak Time - Monday - Thursday
5:00pm – 6:30pm
6:30pm – 7:45pm
7:45pm – 9:00pm
Non-Peak Time
Outside peak times, courts may be booked for up to 1.5 hours, in 30-minute increments.
Badminton:
Peak times
Weekdays 16:00–22:00; Weekends 10:00–18:00.
Courts are booked in 30-minute slots.
During peak, each member may book one 30-minute slot.
All other times are non-peak.
Booked in 30-minute slots, with the option to extend to a second consecutive slot.
Maximum booking length non-peak: 1 hour.
Squash:
Yes, you can make Back-to-back bookings, but if all are within peak times, each counts towards you 3 peak bookings per week..
Members may only hold one active court booking at a time.
If you require multiple court bookings for a specific purpose, a request can be submitted in writing to the relevant sport's Committee.
Yes.
All players participating in the booking must be added to the system at least 24 hours before the booking start time.
Bookings that do not have all players added within this timeframe may be cancelled.
Each member is entitled to a maximum of three advanced peak-time bookings per week.
This includes bookings where you are:
· The person making the booking, or
· Listed as a participant in another member’s booking.
You can cancel a court up to 6 hours before play.
Any cancellation made within 6 hours of the booking start time is considered a late cancellation.
A member who records three late cancellations within a one-month period may have their booking privileges suspended for one week.
The committee may apply discretion where exceptional circumstances arise.
Members are expected to leave the court promptly at the end of their allocated booking time, regardless of the score or stage of play.
This ensures courts remain available for the next booking.
From 6:30pm Monday to Friday, courts are primarily reserved for senior members.
A maximum of two junior players aged 14 and over may participate when invited to a senior social or competitive fixture.
Junior members must comply with all club safeguarding and supervision requirements.
Junior members within a Family memberships can book courts through Clubmanager 365. Each junior member will need to submit a separate email address to allow for this.

Promote fair access to courts for all members
Maximise court availability
Reduce unused bookings
Encourage responsible use of club facilities
Create a positive playing environment for everyone

Yes. Members may make a same-day booking for any available court, even if they have already reached their peak-time booking allocation. The weekly limit applies to advanced peak-time bookings only.
