Even more value in 2013! 

It's hard to find any good news stories these days...increased Fuel prices, Household charges... is there anything coming down execpt the rain.The short answer is a resounding YES... well at least at Carlow LTC.

As you are I'm sure aware at this point various committee's have been working hard to help you get the most enjoyment out of your membership with Carlow LTC and we are delighted to announce some amazing changes.

From the member survey there was one area that was clearly causing major not the weather...we can't help there. Yes it is the dreaded Court Fees.  The great news is that they are NO MORE more pay to play in Carlow LTC, no more having to come back and pay if you play during the does this here to see the savings an average player gains

The good news doesn't stop there. Based on your survey feedback we have looked at all the other areas that were causing concern in Carlow LTC. . and we are delighted to announce a new fee structure. For the 2012/13 season when you sign up as a member of Carlow LTC you don't join a section any more you join the club.1 membership fee you can play 3 sports. Have a look here for details and to see what this means to you.

And as if that wasn't enough we also took onboard what you said about payment of fees and we are delighted to introduce 2 new methods of payment

  • Pay by Credit Card: By the end of September you will be able to pay your fees online at by credit card via PayPal.
  • Phased payment for Family and single memberships: Pay half now and spread the remainder over 6 monthly payments. See here for details on how this works

With memberhip fees now due this is great news. Now you can renew your membership in 3 ways, cash, credit card or phased payment.



Which is the fastest racket sport!

One topic that leads to heated discussions in the clubhouse is about which racket sport is the fastest. As we all know each sport of course has different dynamics, but scientists have figured out which ball / shuttle moves the fastest. Take this quiz and find out the answer yourself!

  • A great day was had by all at the annual Mona McGarry day. The day started with the Juniors in the morning and then it was the turn of the adults in the afternoon. Prize giving and supper followed. Carlow LTC would like to thank Mona for her continued support

It is great to see that the Badminton is 'flying' again. Club nights are on every Monday from 8PM.
